Accessibility is a fundamental right and a key for guaranteeing the equal opportunity of all individuals to learning.
Our OpenLearning platform has reached another important milestone, now that we have formally filed our accessibility declaration of conformity with AgiD standards. The declaration is a major step forward for Digit’Ed and marks our readiness for the European Accessibility Act (EAA), which comes into force on June 28, 2025.
Open Learning is designed to be fully inclusive, enabling everyone to access its contents without barriers. The approach not only improves the learning experience, but fosters a culture of diversity & inclusion.

What is an accessibility declaration?
An accessibility declaration is a statement attesting compliance with specific standards, guaranteeing that good and services can be accessed by all individuals, regardless of their personal abilities and capacities. The declaration includes:
- Guidelines: References to accessibility regulations and standards adopted, such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
- Assessment: A detailed overview of the platform features that guarantee accessibility.
- Future commitments: A plan for continuous improvement and compliance with prospective regulations.
European Accessibility Act
With the entry into force of the European Accessibility Act (EAA), organizations will be required to guarantee the accessibility of their goods and services. Digit’Ed is preparing for the challenge with determination. For us, the accessibility declaration is not just a document, but a firm commitment toward open and inclusive education. It thrusts us to the forefront of our sector, a leader willing and able to seize the future opportunities that accessibility can offer.
