The five-year partnership aims to support BPER Group in the development and roll-out of its new “B:Dynamic Full Value 2027” business plan, involving the establishment of a corporate academy to serve all the group’s companies: BPER Banca S.p.A., Banco di Sardegna S.p.A., Banca Cesare Ponti S.p.A., and Bibanca S.p.A.

The education campaign is designed to steer the professional growth of BPER employees toward the challenges and objectives of the new business plan, which envisages major investments in technology (more than €500 million) and human capital.

BPER chose Italy’s number-one education provider Digit’Ed for its deep experience in training and education for the financial sector—and a platform recently awarded the prestigious Brandon Hall Group Technology Excellence Award in the Learning and Development area.

Innovative Education for the Future of the Banking Sector

Digitization, technological development, advanced learning methods, top quality content, and an approach that combines academic depth and expert hands-on knowledge to deliver theory and practice all underpin the method Digit’Ed will apply to the academy programs. Building on AI and other technological solutions and innovative learning methods involving simulations, the programs will enable employees to shore up key skills, focusing especially on the strategic areas of change management, the use of new technologies, and the essential skill set needed to rise to the future challenges of the banking sector.

The Partnership

We are very proud of this partnership. With BPER Group, we will be rolling out a targeted education program that will steer employees toward the Bank’s objectives, while promoting their continuous growth and preparation for an ever-more digital and competitive future. This agreement testifies to our commitment to being the go-to education provider for businesses in Italy and Europe wishing to invest in the growth of their human capital.””.

Gianandrea De Bernardis, Executive Chairman Digit’Ed

This agreement with Digit’Ed builds on our intention to continue investing in systematic education for our people, based on innovative solutions. We firmly believe that a dynamic and modern workplace ought to offer people the best opportunities for training and development, both on the professional and personal levels. In a world of continuous change, in which technology plays such a major role, it is fundamental to constantly update knowledge and skills”.
